Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, European, Turkish. Vegetarian-Friendly, Vegan Options, Gluten-Free Options

Don't miss this award-winning Turkish restaurant. Voted "Best Restaurant in Ipswich 2018" (based on a poll of more than 2000 people), this eatery serves a wide selection of authentic Turkish cuisine.

Dishes include mixed meze starters, BBQ meat platter, Turkish chicken stew and traditional kebabs.

Ipswich Central also awarded the venue a silver award in the "Best Dish" category for their "Alaturka Spesiyal" (no, not a typo). This unusually spelt main course dish consists of tender lamb, chicken and meatballs on homemade bread and smothered in the restaurant's famous "red sauce". What's in this "spesiyal" red sauce? You'll have to guess because the recipe is a closely guarded secret. All that's known is that it contains twelve vegetables. That should boost your five a day.

Round off your meal with real Turkish tea and gently perfumed cubes of sugar powdered Turkish delight.

A gluten-free, dairy-free, onion free menu is available upon request.
